About this location

Experience nature up close on the outskirts of Frankenberg (Eder) in our spacious 6m yurt or our 4m bell tent on our large meadow by the gently babbling brook. Our property also offers space for three campervans or two trailers. You are welcome to use our fire pit, grill, and pizza oven, which are also located there. We ourselves, a family with three children and a dog, live in the adjacent half-timbered house. Nestled in a particularly beautiful landscape, our camp space offers a rare view that soothes the soul. At night, you can see many stars with minimal light pollution. Dogs are very welcome, so you can bring your four-legged friend. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the fresh air while you sleep in the comfortable yurt or the large tent, or pitch your own tent. The nearby town of Frankenberg (Eder) offers numerous shopping opportunities, good restaurants, and leisure activities. Explore the picturesque old town with its historic half-timbered houses or hike in the surrounding forests. The nearby Edersee lake invites you to enjoy water sports and is a paradise for nature lovers.

Our 4m bell tent has a wood-burning stove for the colder months. Book firewood for the stove if it's still chilly. You only need to bring your sleeping bag and a sleeping mat; the tent is already set up. It's not only spacious but also tall enough to stand up in. The cotton-blend fabric, up to 2.50m in the center, keeps the tent pleasantly cool even in the summer sun. Several windows and the door are fitted with mosquito netting, ensuring good ventilation and keeping insects out.
