A haven of peace to disconnect in the heart of nature. Pitch your tent, we'll plant a tree! A calm and relaxing spot with breathtaking views of the village of Léglise and the surrounding valleys. You'll be surrounded by nature: rich flora and fauna, frequent wildlife sightings (deer, roe deer, etc.), absolute tranquility, and magnificent sunrises and sunsets. Authentic wild camping on 2 hectares with 4 pitches available. - One pitch = 1 tent** (maximum 4 people) - Pets not allowed. Upon arrival, you are free to choose your pitch at the top of the property, with the best view. We are creating a food forest and a vegetable garden on this 2-hectare property. You can enjoy the peace and quiet without us being intrusive. We are not a party place. We prioritize rest, respect for nature, and other campers. Important rules: - Open fires are strictly prohibited (risk of eviction). Only personal BBQs and fire pits are permitted. - Firewood is available near the composting toilet. "Since July 9, 2026, fires are prohibited near the forest and in the meadows due to the drought. Only barbecues are permitted, provided they are constantly supervised and extinguished after cooking. BBQ ashes must be disposed of properly (not thrown along hedges or in nature). Thank you for respecting this rule for everyone's safety." - Curfew at 10 p.m. (soft music permitted at low volume). Access and amenities nearby - On foot (2 minutes): pharmacy, bakery, small restaurant and takeaway pizzeria. - 10-15 minute walk: SPAR supermarket, brasserie. - 2 minute drive: chip shop, forest and hiking trails. Numerous outdoor activities to discover in the region (Neufchâteau lake, wildlife park, hiking trails, etc.). Access to the property: Entrance via a "private road" under video surveillance. Highlights - Dry toilet with composting - No rubbish bins (please take all your rubbish with you) - On-site parking - Good network coverage - Sunrise and sunset views. The street is one-way and for local traffic only: please do not drive down the street. To exit, drive up the street and take the next left at the intersection. Please note that many of the pitches are slightly sloped. If you are travelling in a campervan, consider using levelling blocks for stability. However, it is perfectly possible to park without levelling blocks. Please do not dig holes in the ground, especially to level vans or campervans. Please use levelling blocks.
