About this campspace #s003716

Your host

Welcome to Nisse, the most beautiful village in the Waardevol Cultuur Landschap Zak van Zuid-Beveland. We live with our 3 foster children in our self-built ecological home.
Our garden of 1 ha is located between the village of Nisse and the main road from Heinkenszand to 's Gravenpolder.
There is an ornamental garden, standard orchard with meadow garden, a vegetable garden with bees, a small greenhouse and a forest (with more bees) and an orchard with old fruit trees. And always a beautiful view of the Maria Church of Nisse. There is a large trampoline for the children (use at your own risk).
A refrigerator is provided.
Nisse is located in a beautiful hedge area where you can walk and cycle, with the sea and beach always nearby.
We can set up one of our tents for you in advance.
Nisse is located on the LAW borderland path (stage 4) and the Scheldt-Rhein cycle route (LF13)

We, Pim and Bert and our foster children would like to welcome you to our garden.

After a long day of hiking with the backpack I was warmly welcomed by Pim and Bert. I was immediately offered a nice bowl of soup! The garden is beautiful and offers plenty of shelter, there is plenty of space to set up your tent. The sanitary facilities are neat and functional. Recommended!

We were warmly welcomed by Pim, who showed us his fantastic garden. Beautiful flower garden and an orchard. We were allowed to sit our van in a nice spot. Bert has told us a lot about the area, the pocket of South Beveland.
Because of Corona, we were the only guests who used the sanitary facilities. We thought that was a very safe idea.
The area is wonderful for cycling and walking.
We will definitely come back in the spring.

Small paradise in the hedge and fruit tree landscape. We were warmly welcomed, then we were given a tour of the entire site. After this we were allowed to choose a place for our tent ourselves. Pim and Bert have just started this micro campsite, the sanitary facilities are brand new and look very neat. There are various electricity / water points on the field and there are plans to make a sink for the camping guests, there is also a B&B on the site. You camp in a relaxing fruit orchard of this amazing garden (which you can almost call a park). The garden consists of an orchard, an ornamental garden, a greenhouse and various beehives. You hardly have the idea that you are camping in someone's garden. Pim and Bert are very nice / helpful people. We were allowed to make a fire in a barrel and there were currants and to top it all off we could visit the church of Nisse, including a great view from the tower (with an explanation of the area). There is additional information available about the area, which is suitable for beautiful walks and / or cycling trips. We have completely relaxed here! Extra information:
- Nisse is Zeelandic for Neus
- Many fruit growers in the area which has a number of slot machines with; apples, cherries, strawberries, jam, etc.
- The sheepfold on the edge of the hedge area, great for children.
- Various beautiful walks and bike rides (ask Bert)
- Make campfire in a fire barrel including wood
- Pim's hives
- Pim's garden is featured in various (garden) magazines
- Leaflets / maps available
- Brand new plumbing
- Water and electricity points available on the site
- Trampoline for the children
- 20 to 30 minutes from Middelburg and Vlissingen
- Supermarkets in the nearby villages
- Catering in the village itself
- Zeeland through and through

We enjoyed camping for a long weekend at micro camping De Vink. We were looking for a quiet place to escape the busy city and found it there. Pim and Bert have a beautiful garden where you can camp in all kinds of space and where there is plenty of beauty to see. We were received very hospitably and learned a lot about the area from Pim and Bert. In short, it was relaxed, quiet and cozy and we felt very comfortable.

You can park on site, not near the tent. There is plenty of space, but sound carries a long way: think of the neighbors.

Nice that you want to know more about our campspace. You sleep under more than 100 year old fruit trees. Feel free to take a walk through the vegetable garden and ornamental gardens. Bert knows a lot about the area, so if you want to know something about the area, cycling or walking routes, you've come to the right place.
