About this location

Come relax on our beautiful grounds. Enjoy the peace and be surprised by the beautiful Reest Valley. Take a nice dip in our swimming pond in summer or experience what cold does to your body in winter. For extra relaxation, we also offer private yoga lessons.

We live with our two children, Gonzo the cat, Oban the Border Collie and our chickens in beautiful Drogteropslagen at the edge of Drenthe. Our backyard overlooks the Reest and the border with Overijssel. The Reest is a stream that begins here and winds its way to Meppel.

If you're lucky you'll see deer running through the Reest Valley.

Here you have the opportunity to pitch your tent in our food forest. You will be alone, without other guests, so you experience the unique peace of beautiful Drenthe. Enjoy a nice splash in our swimming pond! There is also a dry toilet, cold outdoor shower and a water tap.

You can also rent our wooden hut if you prefer to be more comfortable. This hut overlooks our swimming pond. The hut is heated and has a kitchenette with hot water, fridge and a hotplate.

By agreement, you can eat from our vegetable garden!

We can also cook for you, which can be added to your booking.
