About this location

Welcome to our home :) We are a French family who have been living in Sweden since the summer of 2024 after several years of traveling the world. We have always loved hosting travelers from all over the globe and are very happy to be able to do so again here. We enjoy chatting over a fika and sharing our local favorites :) Discover our tent site located in the small village of Insjön, in Dalarna, near Lake Siljan. Enjoy a flat, grassy spot ideal for camping, situated next to a cycle path and a forest, away from traffic. A covered barbecue area is available for convivial outdoor meals. You will have access to the toilets, bathroom, kitchen, and laundry facilities for a comfortable stay. Just a 10-minute walk from the train station, easily explore the Falun Mine, the Rättvik Pier, the Zorn Museum in Mora, Leksand, and much more. Local amenities, such as a supermarket, post office, pharmacy, and pizzeria, are just a 5-minute walk away. See you soon!
