About this location

Mother and daughter live in a small mining village. We are a simplicity where humans, chickens, cats and dogs all live together. Our house is too small to accommodate you but our garden is as big as our Heart!
The advantage of a small mining village: birds that make noise, nature that listens, the night is really black, the stars that really light up the sky.... a calm of just peaceful countryside where we live fulfilled!
Activities
On site there are obviously hikes
Not far away there is Lake Palinges, the town of Montceau les Mines (called AU Montceau here) with the Mining Museum or the ALLIOT factory (old trucks) to visit.
A little further, there is Paray le Monial, Charolles and the Charolais meat museum, Le Creusot with the Château de la Verrerie,....
Other remarks
We were from Dijon before and were used to welcoming people Coushsurfing, we loved it! But now in a house with only two bedrooms we always want these magical and human encounters! So we dare and we start in a new way thanks to our garden. We look forward to welcoming you!

The campsite will be simply on our enclosed property. There are flat areas for tents and sloping areas to access the house. You can pitch your tent wherever you like. The bathroom facilities are in the house, ensuring a warm place. They are small but practical. The toilet and shower are in the same room, but we have incense if needed :-) We have Wi-Fi internet; we even have fiber optic in the countryside. The kitchen is shared, but I tend to enjoy shared meals if you'd like. Otherwise, you can eat outside at the large or small garden table. We have an induction hob, microwave, oven, CITRAM cookware, toaster, kettle, juicer... There are no outdoor power outlets, but I'm happy for you to charge your phone inside the house; I'm quite comfortable with people disconnecting... If you want to be completely independent, a solar charger is available, or you can use the outlets in the chicken coops in the garden! We also offer 2-second tents for 2 or 4 people. I can even teach you how to fold it if you don't know how :-)

Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excluding Campspace fees). If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Opening hours: the gate is never locked, so you can come and go as you please! However, when you arrive, I like to be there, if you know what I mean... It's nicer to tell me what time you'll be there. Access: not locked Smokers: Yes, outside, not inside. And, ashtrays are essential! Emptying them is no problem for me as long as you put your cigarette butts in them! Children: My daughter is 15, if you're dragging your teenager around, I understand! Otherwise, other ages, no worries because children are pure joy. Even teenagers! Animals: if they accept chickens, cats and dogs NO WORRIES! If they don't like cats or dogs MEH! If they don't accept chickens or you don't know: we'll try, otherwise I'll exceptionally close the chickens, or we'll adapt!
