About this location
We are young organic winemakers established since 2019 in a place that feels like the end of the world.
We offer you 2 pitches 100m from our house, in a large meadow just for you, with a view of the Saône Valley (and sometimes Mont Blanc). You will be in the heart of nature with the impression of being alone in the world.
You have access to independent facilities (hot shower, dry toilets, large sink).
If you wish, you can enjoy a wine tasting from the estate (Beaujolais-Leynes, Saint Amour, Bourgogne Blanc, Saint Véran, Pétillant naturel) and visit our farm (vineyards, highland cattle, sheep, chickens and horses).
We offer you breakfast and picnic baskets made with local and/or organic products. We also provide you with hiking maps to explore around the property (4 routes of varying difficulty).
The setting is magical: you are surrounded by forests, vineyards, moorland and meadows. The view is breathtaking, you are at 450m altitude, you overlook the entire Saône Valley and can admire Mont Blanc on clear days.
Activities
If you love nature, you are in the right place! You can read in a hammock in the shade of the trees, hike, mountain bike or canoe-kayak on the Saône. Roche de Solutré is 10 minutes by car and 1.5 hours on foot, a wonderful spot for climbing and hiking.
The village of Leynes where we are located is very lively and pleasant. You can walk down and enjoy night markets on the first Friday of each month, lunch or dine in a local restaurant and play pétanque under the plane trees of the beautiful village square.
The region is also very rich culturally: 25 minutes from the house, Cluny with its former abbey and its lively Saturday morning market, 20 minutes from the house, Mâcon and its historic old town as well as its Saône waterfront, 35 minutes Châtillon sur Chalaronne and its famous covered market with a magnificent and huge gourmet market on Saturday morning.
