Your host, Dennis
We are Dennis and Evelien. For a while now, we have been dreaming of a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A place to enjoy each other, our children, and nature. In 2024, we took a step closer to realizing this dream by purchasing a piece of forest from Dennis’s grandmother. It is the patch of nature where Dennis played as a child with his brother, cousin, and niece, and where this dream originated. This forest is located next to the quiet zone in Stekene. Close to our home next to lively Antwerp, yet far enough away to get completely away from it all. We have renovated the cottage and transformed the forest into a play forest. We have introduced bees and consciously chosen not to install internet. This way, we enjoy this place to the fullest! We would love to share our dream and this place with the outside world. We want as many people as possible to enjoy nature and peace without necessarily having to drive far to get there.
