About Évora:
Located close to our property, Évora is a historic city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Must-see sites include :
- Roman Temple of Diana: Built in the 1st century, this temple is one of the best-preserved Roman remains on the Iberian Peninsula.
- Évora Cathedral (Sé Catedral): An impressive building combining Gothic and Romanesque styles, offering panoramic views from its roof.
- Chapel of the Bones (Capela dos Ossos): A singular chapel decorated with human bones, a reminder of the fragility of life.
- Praça do Giraldo (Giraldo Square): The lively heart of the city, surrounded by cafés, shops and historic buildings.
