About this location

We offer 1 - 2 pitches for campers on our holiday farm. The pitches are accessible via their own gate and are located in the front part of our large property. For all holiday guests we have seating areas in the garden, a fire pit and a grill that you are welcome to borrow.

Karft is a small, quiet place, about 14 km from Schaalsee. At 23:00 the street lights go out here, so you can enjoy your rest in darkness and silence.

Activities
Karft is located on the edge of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. You can hike or cycle. As an officially recognized partner of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve, we actively contribute to the preservation of our valuable cultural landscape. Karft is ideally located between Berlin and Hamburg. Schwerin and Lübeck are also quickly accessible. Schaalsee and several other smaller lakes can be reached by bike in 30 - 45 minutes and invite you to swim.

We have a small bakery in our village. Shopping opportunities are in Wittenburg (8 km away) or Zarrentin (14 km away)

Our lawn at the front of the garden is ideal for one or two small campervans. You can either park on the paved path and use the lawn for your awning, or drive directly onto the lawn. We have plenty of space for tents in the garden. Sanitary facilities: We don't yet have sanitary facilities for campers. There is an outdoor tap for fresh water. A washing machine and dryer are available for a fee and upon prior arrangement. Amenities: We have Wi-Fi in the house. It is also available outside, but probably not everywhere.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Rules

Campfire please only at the campfire site. Dogs are welcome (with registration), but please not free-roaming. (We still have two cats and another dog temporarily on the farm).
