About this location
Pure camping holiday in the beautiful Franconian Switzerland surrounded by fruit trees and nature in a private, approximately 2000 sqm fenced garden.
We only offer tent pitches, as we don't have access to our garden. Vehicles can be parked in the street in front of the house.
Romantic Wiesenttal, - a paradise for hikers and cave visitors, but also for guests seeking peace and relaxation.
A campfire pit and fire barrel are available, as are several seating areas with tables. Wood must be brought along or can be purchased from us.
Our garden is also suitable for small parties, get-togethers, or other gatherings. However, to protect the neighbors, it should be quieter after 10 p.m.
Dogs are welcome to join us, as we own a Hovaward ourselves.
We are located 469 meters above sea level. Our small village is always very quiet, perfect for relaxation—you won't regret it :)
The activities
In the neighboring town, there is a basilica that is visited by pilgrims every year and is sure to leave an impression on those who are interested. Those who enjoy hiking have several opportunities to explore and discover caves around our area. Sturdy footwear is essential and ensures safety against slipping and falling. Furthermore, for water sports enthusiasts, there are kayak rentals in other nearby towns (around the corner), where a paddle down our whitewater river will provide approximately one to two hours of enjoyment. Return trips are available on the operator's bus. You can also use your own kayak. Not far away, there is a climbing park with a natural restaurant.
About 10 km away there is a leisure and amusement park with another climbing park, E-Funpark, Skywalk, summer toboggan run, - and of course a beautiful cave tour with a guide.
There are restaurants all around our town, and outdoor pools, both natural and rock pools, are right nearby. Larger ones like an outdoor pool with slides or a thermal pool are about 20-30 minutes away. There's definitely enough fun for the whole family, and it's hardly ever boring. But mostly, it's pure nature in our garden.

Hello :) You're always welcome at my place! My meadow for camping is 2000 square meters, but you're also welcome to use the front garden, which is about 1000 square meters – just not for camping. The camping area is in the back with a view of the fields and woods, and also of the neighboring building with a few cows when they're not out grazing. There are seating areas at the front and back. A garden bed is located in the front under a canopy of plants. I can only accommodate a maximum of 10 people – there are good reasons for this. For larger groups, we can certainly arrange something via private message. The campfire area in the back is large, the one in the front is smaller. Warm regards from Franconia, Petra. Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.
