About this location
Fall asleep under a myriad of stars, lulled by the song of the stream, perhaps accompanied by the mysterious hoot of an owl… Rediscover the calm and tranquility of sleep in the heart of wild nature, far from all pollution.
A medicinal plant farm welcomes hikers from June to October on its camping area, in a preserved wild natural setting at 1,200m altitude, for a total change of scenery.
Access is by vehicle (30 minutes on a track from the hamlet of Morignole) or on foot from the village of Tende, requiring 2 to 3 hours. You can save 45 minutes by driving to the end of the Pia road and parking at the Pia barns. There is 400m of elevation gain on a very beautiful marked trail.
On reservation, I can prepare your meals with a majority of organic and local products.
The camping area is located in a shaded undergrowth, bordered by the river and its waterfalls.
Activities
Occasional or experienced hikers can explore the numerous trails around the farm, which is an ideal stopping point: you can discover the picturesque hamlet of Refrei, climb Mont Bertrand (2,484m) and its breathtaking panorama, discover the dreamlike landscapes of the Marguareis karst massif in the company of chamois and marmots, or swim under the Roueou waterfall with its tropical charm…
For canyoning enthusiasts, the river bordering the farm is a very beautiful course, with pretty waterfalls and some rappels.
Mountain activities are numerous in the Roya valley: hiking, canyoning, paragliding, climbing, horse riding or donkey trekking...
The archaeological site of the Merveilles, overlooked by Mont Bégo, is also a must-see in the valley.
Other remarks
The site is isolated. Plan your food or remember to book your meals, prepared mainly with organic and local products and wild plants (Per person, excluding drinks. €20).

Good morning!
I am Julien, a herbalist farmer in Haute Roya (Alpes Maritimes). After twenty years spent in large companies, I returned to my first loves by becoming passionate about the world of plants and their links with living things and Man. In this splendid mountain setting, I pick, cultivate and transform medicinal plants, without mechanical means and in a demanding agroecological approach. I also like to transmit and continue to bring this precious knowledge to life.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.
Rules
The campsite is located in a very rich and fragile ecological area. It is therefore forbidden to use non-organic products (soaps, shampoos, dishwashing liquid, etc.). During periods of drought, fires are prohibited. Friendly dogs are welcome.
