About this location

We are located at an altitude of 300 meters, surrounded by acres of forest and immersed in nature. Ideal for those who enjoy peace and relaxation, awakening with the chirping of birds and evenings with fireflies and the croaking of frogs.
In a rustic but well-kept setting, you can enjoy the pleasure of slow living.

Admire unique sunsets from the panoramic wooden terrace, soak in the pool and relax on the poolside loungers while contemplating the valley below, listen to the sounds of the forest and enjoy beautiful starry skies.
The activities
It offers the opportunity to relax in full harmony with nature. You can use the swimming pool, use deck chairs and hammocks. For younger guests we have play area with swings, slide, trampoline and wooden playhouse.

It is located on the first hills of Reggio Emilia, in the middle of the Matildic territory just a few minutes from the Enza River, a popular destination for refreshing baths in the summertime. It is a few kilometers from the castle of Canossa and Rossena, the oasis of Bianello and the castle of the same name, all residences of the Grand Countess Matilda of Canossa, one of the most important figures of the Middle Ages.

Nearby you can also find the Matilde di Canossa Golf Club, the Bismantova stone (an important climbing destination in northern Italy) and several CAI trails for visiting the hills and the Reggio Emilia Apennines.

The tent space is distributed over a large plot of land, well spaced apart to ensure total privacy. Well shaded both in the morning and in the evening. Parking space adjacent to the tent only with 4x4 cars.
Campers and vans can instead be placed near the house.
All pitches are equipped with electricity and water connections nearby.
The toilets.
Toilets are available 24 hours a day. Inside a wooden house you can find a chemical toilet, hot and cold shower and a small changing room.
A sink is available outside the cottage.
The equipment
At guests' disposal we can provide free of charge: gas stove, refrigerator, wood grill.
Possibility to use dishes, pots and kitchen equipment. Basic ingredients (salt, sugar, oil, etc.) available to guests.
If necessary we can provide electrical extensions and assistance/maintenance for any need
