About this location

Hello fellow campers!

The access road is very difficult, and is built on ancient terraces that have been weakened by the passage of time. It can only be used by relatively light, unobtrusive vehicles at very moderate speeds.

Once you've passed these few hundred meters, you're in the heart of the Coteaux d'Eos, an eco-place that recently became a Nature Oasis and LPO Refuge, and you're very welcome!

But be warned, you're also in the heart of the Haut-Var massifs, where any kind of fire is strictly forbidden (which means, among other things, no smoking, barbecuing or any other kind of object that produces flames or sparks).
The site is located on a hillside, entirely terraced, in a forest setting.

It's a very old olive grove, long abandoned, which I'm gradually restoring. The long-term aim, apart from growing olive and fig trees, is to find different forms of art and well-being in a place where nature is preserved.

For the time being, of course, the site is still under construction, and much remains to be done...

Apart from that, you'll be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of this place at night, free from light pollution and under a superb starry sky. :)
The activities
If you wish, you can enjoy the benefits of sports massage, Swedish massage, Thai massage or Japanese facial massage (prices on site).

In the surrounding area, within a 30 km radius, you can enjoy all the activities mentioned in the dedicated section, not to mention the many arts and crafts available in the region.

A few kilometers (by car) from the surrounding villages:

- 5 km (7 min) from Salernes, with its natural swimming pool and ceramics museum

- 12 km (15 min) from Entrecasteaux, and its castle

- 12 km (19 min) from Sillans-la-cascade

- 15 km (22 min) from Aups, and its Maison de la Truffe (Truffle House)

- 19 km (24 min) from Cotignac (4, 5 km and 15 min by the old road)

- 27 km (31 min) from Le Thoronet and its Abbey

- 31 km (37 min) from Bauduen and the first beaches of Lac de Ste-Croix

Hello everyone! A former city dweller (though originally from the countryside), I spent over 20 years working as a graphic designer, sitting at a computer. Although I enjoyed this work, the need for fresh air and more human contact led me to make a radical career change. This project came to life in 2014 when a friend found this little corner of paradise where I live today.

After several years of training in nature-based skills (olive cultivation, agroforestry, permaculture) and wellness (energetic and muscular massage, yoga), I now work as a wellness and sports massage therapist, while spending much time restoring the olive grove where my cottage is located.

When I'm not working (as a massage therapist or farmer), I enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, archery, team sports when possible), art in all its forms (space, sound, visual and live performance), learning about world cultures and their diversity, and I'm interested in environmental and ecological questions and nature preservation. I love sharing good moments with friends whenever I can.

My work and somewhat wild lifestyle (lost in the middle of the forest) don't allow me as much time as I'd like to meet new people. That's why I'm really looking forward to welcoming all travelers who wish to visit. Meeting new people, getting to know them, and sharing together is surely one of life's greatest gifts.
