A shaded pitch under large, century-old trees awaits you on a family property. As soon as you pass through the gate, you'll find yourself on a 12,000 m² enclosed, peaceful, and typical property. I live in a traditional longhouse with outbuildings. There's an 8x4 m saltwater swimming pool with a shower and plenty of sun loungers. You can enjoy your meals on a terrace shaded by a magnificent wisteria, and you'll have access to electricity and fresh water refills by contributing financially to the costs. There's a dedicated area for your barbecue where you can also use a griddle (a donation box is provided for gas), and a ping-pong table is available. The site isn't yet equipped for black water disposal; this is the first year... The goal of the house is to improve the hospitality and eventually offer meals and a bed and breakfast (my wife is a chef ;)...).
From cyclists to families with children, everyone is welcome. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the location is central for numerous historical visits, canoeing, and equestrian activities...

Hello, my name is Thomas, I'm 57 years old, in good health, and eager to welcome you. Following a long journey after my father's passing, I've taken over the family property, a traditional longère farmhouse on 12,500 square meters of land. The setting is idyllic and peaceful, and it's a great base for visiting the many nearby attractions. I had hoped to start this venture next year, but the overall financial burden has led me to begin this year, 2026. An 8x4 meter swimming pool and shower are at your disposal. If needed (for tents and campervans), I will give you access to the family toilet and bathroom, provided a family member is present. As a last resort, we have a portable toilet that you can borrow. Given the drought, I'm also giving you access to the cooking area, which includes a griddle. A donation box will be available for refilling the gas cylinder. The property is destined to evolve into a proper service and a proper establishment. My wife is a chef, and we are also planning to offer a table d'hôte next year. I won't be there full-time, as I run a business in Bourges, but my family and I will do our best to welcome you in a warm and friendly atmosphere. See you soon.

Horseback riding in my immediate neighborhood, a magnificent Gothic church in Châteauneuf-sur-Cher, kayaking on the Cher river
Numerous museums and activities are available in Bourges (35 km), or to the south in St Amand (30 km)...
Fruit and local produce market on Saturday mornings in Chateau-neuf, an excellent market in Levet as well
Very few bars nearby. Or too far to reasonably drive... aperitifs are served at the property!
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.
We welcome dogs on your pitches; they are free to roam as long as they don't attack or cause any harm. Even if the property is gated, it won't keep out dogs like Arsène Lupin! For same-day bookings, please arrive after 7:30 pm. If you leave, you will be responsible for closing the gate. Use of the cooking area is to be arranged privately. The gas contribution for the griddle is €2 per use... we do need to change the gas cylinders. An outdoor handwashing sink is available for your use, but for washing dishes or refilling your water tanks, you will need to request it. In the event of high water consumption, we ask for a contribution of €1 per 10 liters.
