About this location

The campsite is located on a small family farm. This is a 'peasant farm' of 7.5 hectares with highly diverse small-scale production (heritage grains, traditional bread, honey, etc.).
The farm welcomes campers who appreciate rural life, nature and local products.

The campsite is situated in open countryside – bocage landscape – surrounded by large forests. To the east you can see the Morvan (approximately 20 km away), to the west you will find the Loire (approximately 3 km away). It is very quiet with very little traffic.

Activities
On site, you can enjoy the rural atmosphere and tranquility. On Fridays there are gatherings in the bakery. In the surrounding area, you can swim in the Loire (or in the canal), kayak, hike, visit sites in the Morvan (e.g. Bibracte) etc.

Other remarks
You will be welcomed in a family and rural atmosphere, close to nature, but with necessary comforts. We sell our own products on the farm as well as some products from neighbouring producers. The host is a peasant-baker: she makes sourdough bread in a wood-fired oven. For cereals, she has chosen to work only with heritage varieties. The bakery is the sales point, registration for camping but above all a warm meeting place.

Comfort is guaranteed with a cabin built from ecological materials, featuring dry toilets, a shower in a large barrel, and hot water heated by the sun. We also offer a summer kitchen (with stove, fridge, sink, pots and pans, etc.). Everything is made with sustainable materials and low energy consumption.
