About this location
As frequent travelers by car or Campinambulle campervan, we wanted to welcome travelers in our turn and show off our magnificent farmhouse in the countryside with all the amenities. Our first neighbors are 2 fields from us. Yes, here, we count on the field!
In a magnificent stone farmhouse, with trees and flowers, surrounded by pastures, accessible by a beautiful alley lined with large trees, we welcome travelers who wish to stop off or stay and recharge their batteries in a peaceful place surrounded by nature.
We have 3 chickens in the chicken coop located near the sink. You can bring them your leftovers. They love little treats and company...
Pitches on flat, grassy land with trees and therefore shade (hedge of trees to the south which provides shade all day long), 100 meters from our home, and therefore completely independent.
20 km from the town of Vichy, a spa town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next to Vichy, the medieval village of Charroux, classified as one of the "most beautiful villages in France" and its numerous craftsmen, awaits you
The amusement and animal park "Le Pal" is located in St pourçain/Besbre 30 minutes away (one of the best in its category in France in terms of quality/price ratio). Allow at least 2 days, and you won't have taken advantage of everything yet!!!
At the foot of the Montagne Bourbonnaise, 15 km away, crossed by the GR3 and the GR3A, you will have at your disposal 480 km of hiking or mountain biking trails and many small fishing spots for an "evening break"...
You will discover remarkable sites there, such as the Plan d'eau de St Clément for example with its nautical base (swimming, canoe pedalos, etc.) and its adventure park (tree climbing) or the Rocher St Vincent, a superb climbing site...
It's our favorite playground (there are still streams, trout and chanterelles there, but shush! Keep that to yourself...
Activities
Vichy: a spa town, of culture and pleasure, a very sporty town with its lake and its sports center, (which hosts the CREPS to train high-level athletes = accessible equipment, at the top), a town historic, green with a human dimension. I really recommend it!
Our farmhouse is 20 minutes from the Montagne Bourbonnaise and 1 hour from the Auvergne Volcanoes Park.

For the little ones, the Trézelles lake (6 km away) is simply a dream. In the shade, they will be able to wade at their leisure and without any risk in the Besbre.
Other remarks
Market in Lapalisse on Thursday mornings (10 minutes). In Vichy on Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings in Cusset (just before Vichy).
The Layat farm, in Trézelles (6 km) is an eco-responsible farm which offers 100% natural, organic and local production. You can come from us.
