About this location

Secure location with breathtaking views of the nearby lake (Lac de la Mouche), including sunset views over the lake. Ideal for recreational vehicles such as vans or Renault Trafics... Not suitable for motorhomes (insufficient space). The site overlooks the view and requires access via a sloping area. There is a small chalet on the property, inaccessible to those renting the pitch. Abundant vegetation provides ample shade. Electrical hook-up is available at a service point (similar to a campsite; originally designed for caravans). Leisure activities: immediate proximity to the lake (just cross the road), 7km walking/cycling loop, no motorized vehicles allowed, swimming, fishing, tranquility.

The site is directly accessible from the road. A driveway leads uphill to the level, secluded pitch. The site overlooks a lake and forest, offering stunning sunset views. Abundant vegetation provides ample shade. The lake is renowned for its wild beauty and unspoiled nature, ideal for a 7km walk or bike ride (starting and ending at the site). Swimming is possible (unsupervised). There is a children's playground. A nearby village offers restaurants (Auberge du Lac) and local producers of seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as eggs, flour, and lentils. Please note: there are no water or waste disposal points on the site; vehicles must be self-sufficient in these areas (a service area is located in the town of Langres, less than 10km away). An electrical hook-up is available. The gate is locked. For this first trial season (2026), keys will be handed over in person. Please note that the small chalet on the property is for private use and not accessible to those staying on the pitch. A table, chairs, and a parasol are provided. Mobile data is available. The grounds are regularly weeded mechanically and manually. No pesticides have been used since I acquired the property (2020). Any suggestions for improvements from the occupants are welcome!

I live in the village of St-Ciergues and offer this spot on a small, private recreational plot with a magnificent view of a lake. It's the perfect place to stay for a night or more in a fenced area and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time surrounded by nature. I love meeting people and sharing experiences. On-site amenities include a restaurant (Auberge du Lac), local producers selling fruits and vegetables, eggs, flour, and lentils. The town of Langres, less than 10 km away, is a beautiful historic town well worth exploring (it's one of the 100 most beautiful detours in France). All shops and services are available.
