About this location

A bucolic farm setting. In the heart of the countryside. Large, shaded courtyard with a lawn. Fenced property. A true haven of peace and relaxation in a cheerful and welcoming family. The birds sing and our hens lay delicious eggs. The permaculture vegetable garden ensures healthy and tasty food for homemade meals (from breakfast to dinner, including afternoon tea and other snacks). Activities include walks, cycling, local cooking workshops, music, and evening gatherings. Quarouble comes from the popular Latin "Karubium," meaning crossroads or four paths. On the edge of the Avesnois region, 3 km from the Belgian border, Quarouble is 12 km from Valenciennes and 70 km from Lille. A bus stop is located right next to the house for easy access to the city or the border. The village center and shops are within walking distance. There are many activities to enjoy in Hainaut: hiking, visiting the mining basin, the fine arts museum, theatre, and every year there's the "Les Turbulentes" circus and street arts festival. Other points to note: The permaculture garden ensures healthy and tasty food for homemade meals (from breakfast to dinner, including afternoon tea and other snacks). Eggs, jams, pastries, and other products are for sale. A table d'hôtes (set menu) is also available.

If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

No garbage on the property, garbage cans and compost available. The bathroom is open from 8 to 11:30 am and from 3 to 9 pm. The gate must always be closed (any runaway dog ;P).

I (Laeticia) am a foodista, I cook all the time and I am very greedy. My family is a play because we are so joyful and hyperactive. But what I really appreciate is the calm of my garden where I can daydream or play music.
