About this location

We have a large property that we regularly improve to make it more beautiful and more in harmony with biodiversity. It includes an olive grove, a forest, an ornamental garden, and a vegetable garden. We have cats and dogs. Gardeners, craftspeople, and amateur artists are welcome to share ideas or even help us with original projects. Located 10 km from the lower Verdon Gorges, our garden features two terraced areas where you can find shade from the sun and heat in summer. There is a commanding view of the lower Alps. Part of our land is a private forest. It's a very peaceful place. The main road leading to our property is below us, making it quiet. Activities include a ping-pong table, swimming pool, trampoline, and pétanque court, all on our property. A few kilometers away, there are several lakes offering water sports, including kayak and electric boat rentals. Nearby are numerous climbing spots, including Quinson and Châteauvert. There are also many hiking trails and opportunities to visit small Provençal villages. Other remarks: Nature lovers are welcome. You can buy seasonal vegetables on site as we have a large vegetable garden. Please note: nights can be very cold, so bring warm clothing. There are two supermarkets nearby, the closest less than 10 minutes away by car. In the village: butcher, bakery, and grocery store.

Terraced pitches bordering the forest. Plenty of trees, providing shade. Flat terrain. Suitable for small and large tents. We have designated 3 or 4 pleasant pitches where you will be sufficiently secluded for everyone's peace and quiet. Toilets and a bathroom are located in a separate chalet. Cold water is available at several points in the garden. Barbecue, bread oven, and pizza oven are located near the main house. Amenities include an outdoor electrical outlet and an extension cord. WiFi is available near the house. Tent rental: We have two basic, easy-to-pitch two-person tents available for occasional use.

Having settled in the Haut Var region six years ago, we want to share our home with campers. We have a large property where we've planted ornamental trees, fruit trees, hedges, and made numerous improvements, such as a pond with aquatic plants. Our goal is to further enhance this space, making it more beautiful and pleasant, and creating a calm and peaceful haven. We have cats and dogs on our property.

Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Rules

Of course, the most important rules concern fire safety, as there are many trees and the risk of fire is increasingly high in this region. No cigarette butts should be found on our site. The swimming pool is not fenced and therefore remains the sole responsibility of the parents. This pool, made available to campers, must be used respectfully by my family and myself. You are welcome to arrive at any time that suits you. However, upon arrival, I offer a tour of the site, including a presentation of the facilities and pitches, which takes some time. It is therefore preferable to arrive during the day, especially for stays of several nights. Around the pool, there is a terrace, and another terrace near the pool and the chalet. These two terraces are available for meals and for evenings with music and conversation, so please respect the sleep of other campers.
