About this location

My wife and I would be delighted to welcome you to our home in the countryside with a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees.

We are very simple people who like to meet people, talk and listen.
Intermarché 3 kilometers away, with a free space for emptying camping cars. There's also a pizza stand.
The activities
6 kilometers from Pau. In our village, you can walk or mountain bike on the Chemin Henry 4, which goes all the way to Lourdes, and the voie verte along the Gave de Pau for pleasant bike rides. There's also a city stadium in the center of the village and a pétanque court.
Other things
Since 1/02/2024, visitors have been charged €8 per day per visitor and free for children under 15.

We can accommodate 2 motorhomes or two caravans, one inside the garden and the other on our private road 35 meters from the main street.
We are in the countryside 10 minutes from Pau with a view of the Pyrenees and the Pic du Midi de Bigorre. One pitch is 52 m2 and the other 32 m2. The maximum length of the camper van is 10 meters for the first pitch and 9 meters for the other. Both pitches are unshaded. We also have 2 pitches for tents, one 18 m2 and the other 29 m2.
The toilets
You use the bathrooms, kitchen with fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker and a 4-burner gas hob in our mobile home as well as the toilet and shower.
The equipment
We provide electricity and have camping adapters.
A kitchen is available (without dishes), a shower, toilet in our mobile home and if you need the BBQ and the garden furniture, let us know at our first contact so that we can reserve it for you, thank you.

Tips

  • We have the Henry 4 path which goes from the Château de Pau to Lourdes, which can be used by mountain bike and ATV, and also the greenway along the Gave de Pau.

  • We have a magnificent view of the Pyrenees, Lake Baudreix with its beach and water games and a city stadium in the center of the village of Meillon

  • We have markets in Nay on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, in Bordes and Idron on Saturday mornings and an Intermarché and a pizza kiosk 3.5 km from us.
