About this location

Surrounded by trees there is a possibility to set up camp. In winter sheep run on the meadow. In summer they are on the sturgeon dike. Next to the meadow is a chicken coop. During the day the chickens run around freely on the property. From the pitch you can enjoy the sunset.
The property is located on the sturgeon dike separated from a country road. The property is surrounded by trees and not visible from the outside. The view is unobstructed over meadows, where deer can often be seen or the stork langspaziert.
The site is located about 2 km from the small tranquil town of Kellinghusen and between Itzehoe and Bad Bramstedt.
The Mönchsweg leads directly past the house. A bike trail between Bremen and Fehmarn.
The activities
In the immediate vicinity is a heated outdoor pool, a museum and the sturgeon (on the property) in which you can also cool off. Furthermore, there is a golf course about 12 km away. Here you can also book courses for beginners. Sauna and wellness in about 6 km distance.
A canoe rental is also just around the corner. In the town of Kellinghusen (about 2.5 km) there are restaurants, shopping and an ice cream parlor.
Other things
A grill and a pizza oven / lamb oven can be used after consultation with.
I myself like to go swimming in the Stör, but because of the current I can not recommend this for children. Swimming with children is recommended in the Kellinghusen open-air pool or Im Rensinger See in Kellinghusen (with a small bathing area). Otherwise, you can find bathing lakes in the surrounding area.
