About this location

Our unique spot in the Flemish Ardennes is equipped with 4 pitches, BBQ area, compost toilet and a sink with hot water for washing dishes and outdoor shower with hot water for guests, so it is also pleasant on cooler days.
The spots give a view of our meadows with goats, ponies, geese, horses and a mini donkey, ..
We are located in the immediate vicinity of many cycling and walking routes. 1 km from the famous mill mountain. Oudenaarde and Ghent are easily accessible for city people. Both by car and public transport/train.
In the immediate vicinity we have a Keurslager, restaurant, chip shop and organic shop.

Hey, I'm Dieter, 35 years old, an outdoorsman and animal lover. We have many different animals on our property that you can see roaming around or touch, such as goats, Muscovy ducks, a mini pig, and ponies. We love getting to know and welcoming people, explaining the region to them, and letting them enjoy themselves! You can even get breakfast upon request. I am a nurse by profession and I also enjoy traveling by tent or camper myself. We offer you a spot on a separate meadow next to our house with short grass and a flat surface. A swimming pond measuring 3x11 meters where you can take a refreshing dip in warm weather. A wood-fired sauna and hot tub can also be used for an extra charge! A sink with hot water for washing dishes, a shower with hot water (lovely outdoors in the open air yet private), and a composting toilet. Wi-Fi is always included in the price. Electricity for campers is payable separately. Tourist taxi of 1 euro per person per night to be paid upon arrival. We look forward to welcoming you! Best regards, Dieter

Tips

  • Brewery Roman, the many windmills, walking and cycling routes such as the Tour of Flanders are highly recommended

  • In the summer you can soak up the atmosphere in Oudenaarde at the Bierfeesten. For children you have nearby, in Ronse, the ice mill farm. A little further in the village is also a playground!

  • Keurslager Glorieus and organic store Blauw Kasteel can be found in our village. A little further in Zwalm are bakeries and a small supermarket.

  • In den trap op is highly recommended, a fries eatery and chat cafe with a cozy interior and nice terrace.

  • For an evening dinner you can go to the church in brasserie De Cherubijn
