About this location

The recreation park is very centrally located on the Frisian lakes. You can sail from the harbor to the Frisian lakes to the Sneekermeer or the Langweerderwielen, so don't forget to rent a boat (sloop, tour boat, canoe or sup). On the grounds you can enjoy the bird sounds and the croaking frogs. It is an oasis of peace here where you can see the birds of prey flying on the horizon and the deer running. Do you also want to see something of the area? Sneek is just around the corner, just like 6 other Frisian cities.

An experienced family with decades of expertise in the recreation sector. They have operated various group accommodations across Friesland and Drenthe for many years, bringing their hospitality expertise to this project. Phase one of the park was completed in 2023. Phase two in 2024 includes converting the former director's residence into a luxury accommodation for 10 people and building apartments in the former water-extraction building. The park features safari tents, log cabins, barrels (holiday homes in wine-vat form), and wooden wigwams (holiday homes shaped like a house roof). Even when fully booked, the park feels intimate and welcoming.
The host family lives on the grounds in the former distiller's residence. They are nearby for any questions.
