Tiny House
Het Bosnest is a charming holiday home for 4 people in a former forester's cottage on the edge of the Hallerbos forest. What can you expect? Het Bosnest offers you the ideal base for exploring the Hallerbos and its surroundings, completely unwinding, or enjoying a good book. The holiday home is part of a former forester's cottage that we recently renovated with passion, dedication, and ecological and recycled materials. For example, we insulated the house with wood wool, paper flakes, and cork. We sourced the clay finish from our own garden. The wooden floors were salvaged from old houses, and the antique doors and sink are remnants of the old forester's cottage itself. Much of the furniture was crafted from antique laboratory cabinets. Charm and the sound of birdsong. At Het Bosnest, you'll enjoy nature, each other's company, a good book by the pellet stove, or the sunny terrace in spring and summer. Don't expect a luxurious place to stay, but a charming and cozy cottage. You won't find a television, but you will enjoy a view of greenery and birds. Who is it for? Nature lovers, cyclists, mountain bikers, hikers, families, lovers, friends, those who appreciate peace and quiet and birdsong. Due to the unique nature of the property, it is not wheelchair accessible. The guesthouse is part of Boslabo vzw, an organization that aims to create space for both small and large thoughts. We want to capitalize on the positive impact of nature on health, physical and mental well-being. We want to create a forest experience where the forest serves as the inspiration for artists, organizations, educators, children, and adults. We spent two years building Bosnest, a holiday home for four people on the edge of the Hallerbos forest. Bosnest is part of the old forester's house where Boslabo vzw also operates. The income we generate from the guesthouse goes directly to the non-profit organization, enabling us to organize our activities.
