About this location

A wonderfully cozy 3000m² wooded property with a stream, pond, fire pit, and toilet. Nestled in nature, surrounded by tall trees, a campfire area with seating and a view of the starry sky awaits you. Whether you prefer a tent, hammock, or bivouac, everyone will find their perfect way to spend time in nature. You can use the 3000m² property alone, as a family, or with a group of up to approximately 20 people. We rent the property exclusively. The tent area is calculated for two adults with two children. If you are interested in booking with a larger group, please contact us. In addition to the fire pit, there is a stream and two natural ponds on the property. In very hot summers, the water may not flow. Despite the water, there are no problems with mosquitoes. A dry toilet and a small cabin are also located on the property. Our property is secluded enough to enjoy a pure nature experience, yet centrally located enough to be easily accessible. The site is used by our wilderness school, Wildnistraining Westerwald, for survival training every weekend. Therefore, it is unavailable from Saturday to Sunday. We look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy your time in nature.

We offer 3000m² of land with a fire pit, a stream, a pond, and a small cabin. The cabin itself has a footprint of approximately 15m². Outside, you'll find a separate room with a composting toilet. The cabin's loft provides sleeping space for four people, while the ground floor features a large seating area with a sleeping space and a small wood-burning stove. A patio door leads to a small covered terrace. The property also includes a large fire pit with benches. Our property is secluded enough to allow you to fully immerse yourself in nature, yet centrally located enough for easy access. The grounds and cabin are used by our wilderness school for survival training on most weekends. Therefore, from March to November, the property is not available for overnight stays from Saturday to Sunday. We look forward to welcoming you and hope you enjoy your time in nature.

Enjoy the luxury of a 1.60m bed with lighting, storage space, blackout blinds, and the sound of the Ulmbach stream. In the evenings, you can sit by the stream with a fire pit and enjoy nature. The adjacent building has two toilets and a small sink. You can also use our large shelter with seating in case of bad weather. Electricity is available. If you're coming with children, there's also the option of pitching a tent. Whether as a starting point for one of our wilderness training courses or simply to enjoy a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city, please get in touch. We run a wilderness and survival school in the Westerwald region. During the week we make our 3000m² property available to you. Most weekends we are out with our participants. We look forward to welcoming you.

Tips

  • On hot days, the nearby Ulmbach reservoir is a great place to swim. The famous Greifenstein Castle with its bell museum is about 4 km away.

  • A Rewe supermarket with a bakery is located approximately 5 km away and can be reached directly via the Ulmtal cycle path. A charming village shop with predominantly regional and organic products is located in the village itself.

  • The Ulmbach reservoir, about 2km away, has a lovely beer garden for relaxing.

  • There is a lovely village shop with mostly regional and organic products and a cafe in the village (open only on Fridays and Saturdays).
