Camping in the Frisian countryside A small-scale nature campsite on a former farm, near Sneek. Here you will find peace, space and a beautiful place to unwind – surrounded by the vast Frisian landscape. We offer spacious pitches for tents, campervans, trailer tents and small caravans. No crowds, but simplicity, nature and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you come to cycle, walk or simply do nothing: with us you camp consciously and basic, but with comfort. What you can expect: • Spacious, green camping pitches with a view • Electricity connection (6A) • Well-maintained sanitary facilities • Bread service upon request • Fire bowls available • Cycling and walking directly from the campspace With love and attention, we are gradually building a place where experiencing nature is paramount. Where are you pitching your tent, camper or caravan?
Our camping pitches are situated on an open field next to the former farmyard, surrounded by meadows. Each pitch is spacious – on average around 150 m² – and offers plenty of room for a tent, trailer tent, small caravan or bus camper.
The surface is flat grassland, easily accessible via a sturdy driveway. There is currently little natural shade, so an awning or parasol can be nice in sunny weather.
We work without a fixed layout: you choose (in consultation) a spot on the field yourself. We ask guests to always keep sufficient distance from the neighbors, so that everyone can enjoy peace and privacy.
NB:
• Campers up to a maximum of 6.5 meters are welcome.
• We cannot accommodate large caravans, but we can accommodate small, light caravans.
• Ideal for tent campers and travelers with compact camping equipment.
Here you camp in the open air, with a view of the horizon – a place where simplicity and space are key.
