About this location

Name: In the Heart of the Water. A magnificent, unspoiled, and secluded spot nestled between the arms of the Dronne River (100% surrounded by the river), boasting 6.5 hectares of forest and a 2.5-hectare pond with no neighbors. A very peaceful place, home to numerous bird species. Many walking and cycling trails are available. The site is crossed by the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago) and is a listed historical site (Cassini map, Napoleon's Forges). Fishing is permitted on the pond without a license (pike, black bass, zander, carp, sturgeon, perch). A boat is available for use. There are numerous picnic areas, electricity, water, toilets, showers, and dishwashing facilities. A few stabilized campervan pitches are available (leveling blocks are required for unsecured pitches). Tent pitches, cottages, and caravans are also available for rent.
