About this location

We are Janny and Jan-Willem, and we live with our four children in the rural area of Ermelo on a former farm that has been in the family for over 100 years. We love sharing the space and nature of the Veluwe countryside with others.
There's room for small tents in various spots on our property. In the summer, we have vegetables and fruit from our own garden, and if planning allows, you can enjoy pizza from our wood-fired oven.
There is room for a campfire or a small wood stove.

Once upon a time, there was a silo for animal feed. For years, this silo served its intended purpose. Now it has a new purpose. It is situated in the woods, has been fitted with a few doors, a double bed, a recycled lamp, a nice coat of paint, and is available for booking as a unique place to sleep. There is a small field where you can place chairs. There is electricity in the silo. You do need to bring your own sleeping mat and the rest of your sleeping gear. Oh yes, we set ourselves the goal of making everything in and on the silo from second-hand or recycled material; we almost succeeded—the paint isn't second-hand, but it is from a leftover batch.
