About this location

We are a small family winery located in the village of Skopo, in the heart of the Karst region of Slovenia. As passionate campervan travellers ourselves, we know how valuable it is to find a quiet and welcoming place to stop. That is why we decided to share a small spot in our vineyard with fellow travellers.

The space is simple but peaceful – located right next to our vineyard with a beautiful view over the vines. It is close to the road, but protected by a wall that creates a sense of privacy and shields from any noise. There is some natural shade, making it a lovely place to enjoy a slow morning coffee or an evening picnic while looking out over the landscape.

The Karst region is especially popular among cyclists, with many marked cycling routes passing through nearby villages and vineyards. Most routes are moderately easy and suitable for relaxed exploration of the countryside.

Karst (Kras in Slovenian) is known for its unique landscape: rolling limestone plateaus, small circular valleys with fields at their centre, and countless caves hidden beneath the surface. The countryside still feels timeless, shaped by stone walls, open pastures and the old gmajna where sheep and goats once grazed.

If you enjoy wine, you are of course welcome to visit our cellar (Kraška klet Krstan at Skopo 61, contact is Jure) and ge to know the local wines, especially Teran, and spirits we produce.

The parking area is located on the left side of the upper vineyard, next to the main road, where you are welcome to park your car or camper for the night.

The entrance from the road may look a bit narrow at first, but it is wide enough for a large camper van and opens up once you enter the vineyard area (see photos).

If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

There no check-in at the spot. Just come, park, camp and enjoy. In case of issues (ie. if the spot is occupied, or something else happens), please contact us. We will redirect you to antoher spot or try to help you as needed.
