Nature lovers, we enjoy exploring by bike and cherish encounters filled with wonderful stories! We are fortunate to have a house nestled between vineyards and meadows, with a beautiful garden that we would love to share with you. Just a short bike ride from the Loire à Vélo cycling route, we would be delighted to welcome you. We would also be happy to pitch our tent in a safe corner of the garden with our daughter, Maëlle. Trees, meadows, vineyards... nature surrounds you! Located a short bike ride from the Loire à Vélo route between Saumur and Chinon, in the commune of Chouzé-sur-Loire. Enjoy plenty of sunshine all day long and shady spots to cool off under the trees. The large shed can serve as a sheltered refuge for eating if a storm breaks. There's space to pitch your tent with access to a composting toilet and a solar shower. A motion-activated solar lamp will light your way. A table with a BBQ is also available. The sheep, chickens, and cat are very curious and will surely come to say hello ;-) And depending on the season, cows accompanied by cattle egrets, hares, or even deer will add to the charm of your view! Pets are therefore not allowed. Activities: Cellar visits, Wine tastings, Castle visits, Loire Valley cycling, Hiking, Kayaking/paddleboarding. Other notes: There is no running water. Well water is available (cold). Please bring your own drinking water.

"Pod" Cabin

A pod nestled among the trees and serenaded by birdsong – a true delight for nature lovers! With no running water or electricity inside, you'll truly disconnect ;-) However, the outdoor kitchen, located 5 meters from the pod, includes electricity (fridge and freezer), gas hobs, cooking utensils, a dry toilet, BBQ, and garden table. Sanitary facilities: The dry toilet is 10 meters from the pod (don't forget your headlamps ;-) to get from the pod to the toilet). Spacious and clean, don't worry! There is no hot or drinking water. Well water is available for washing dishes and other daily needs. Amenities: An outdoor kitchen 5 meters from the pod with: - gas hobs - fridge/freezer - deep fryer - electricity - dishes for cooking and eating - garden tables - BBQ/fire pit - games

Enter through the gate, where we'll welcome you and guide you to your pitch!
With over 1000m2 of grass to choose from, you'll be able to pitch your tent with ease.
The sanitary facilities
As far as the dry toilets are concerned, everything is explained inside.
Everything was made with recycled materials, and you'll be right at home!
For the solar shower (only for the summer), we've installed a 20 L water pocket so you can wash up (don't forget to refill it for your friends)! If the sun is out, the shower will be hot!
There's no hot water, and the cold water comes straight from the well, which is not drinkable.
We can welcome you from 4 p.m. for a departure at 11 a.m. at the latest.

We are Thomas and Rozenn! Friends of nature, we love cycling, and we appreciate meeting adventurous people full of great anecdotes!
We are lucky to have a house, between vineyards and meadows, with beautiful land that we would like to share with you. Just 2 pedal strokes from the Loire by bike, we will be very happy to welcome you.
We will also enjoy, in turn, pitching our tent in a small, secure corner of the garden with our daughter, Maëlle.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Rules

Arrival time: from 4 pm Departure time: before 11am Children, adults and babies are all welcome. You are entirely responsible for your own safety. For the BBQ, we ask you to be extra vigilant, as in the hot weather, an ember can quickly ignite a large, devastating fire... (will be forbidden in case of drought) Smokers accepted if butts are not thrown on the ground! We are in favor of waste sorting, so there will be sorting garbage cans available as well as compost in the vegetable garden. Don't feed the animals - we'll take care of that! Modest and friendly, this little spot is ideally situated for a wine tasting at one of the neighboring wineries (200m walk), for visiting the many châteaux of the Loire (10 within 20km of the house) or if you're on the "Loire à vélo" (1km from circuit n°22).
