About this location
Our family is 5th generation on this farm in Hart County, Kentucky. Property joins the Green River, where there is a boat ramp for kayaking/canoeing. We offer drop off and pick up. The famous Three Hundred Springs is only 2 hours downstream. We are a fully-operating Black Angus cattle farm, with fishing and hiking galore! Meals can be prepared and served for you and your guests if needed. Come enjoy Davis Bend, as our family has done for over 100 years.
Rolling hills with cattle in background, darkness at night allows easy visibility to stars, extremely low traffic due to rural setting, views of pond, river, and overall ranch are available.
The activities
Fish in 2 acre pond stocked with crappie, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, catfish, and bluegill. Catch and release only. Swimming in the Green River with a nice gravel/rock bar for chairs, campfire, etc. Swimming location also offers easy access to launch canoes or kayaking. Hiking available in 40 acres of woods. Working cattle ranch, so there are always opportunities to assist in checking the herd every day, feeding grain and hay, and observing the family with their show cattle on the wash rack, where they receive hair shampoo, scrub, rinse, and blow dry every day in the summer!
Other things
Mammoth Cave National Park is a 30 minute drive from this site. Abraham Lincoln birthplace and park is 20 minutes away. The corvette museum in Bowling Green is 45 mins away. Fast food restaurants and 1 local grocery approximately 15 mins away.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Check in from 6:00am-9:00pm, prefer no smoking on the premises. Bring your children and enjoy time in the outdoors on a working ranch!
