About this location

Owners since June 2021, we fell in love with this farmhouse. We live here with our two cats, Croquemol and Choupetta, who will be sure to give you a scratch or two, and our two dogs, Circe and Hecate, two adorable companions. The chickens also roam freely. This little world lives self-sufficiently on the entire property. This 5500m² plot of land seems ideal for a place of sharing and tranquility. We are renovating the main house and trying our best to preserve the seven outbuildings while maintaining the garden. Eventually, we would like to set up a summer kitchen. Ideal for those who appreciate a rustic, natural lifestyle and meeting new people. It's a large farmhouse with seven outbuildings, some in better condition than others. We are in a hamlet with only two houses, so you can imagine the setting is very peaceful. The property can be described as being divisible into four distinct areas! The orchard: a space where travelers can pitch their tents. The caravan: a secluded spot where you can maintain your privacy and stay a little apart if you wish. The hayloft: a place for meeting and sharing. The courtyard: a space where campervans and other four-wheeled vehicles can park. At night, the sky offers a 360-degree view of the constellations. And in the early morning, a beautiful view for breakfast—in short, a timeless place! We are located 15-20 minutes from Loches, the largest town for shopping and strolling. One of the most beautiful markets I've ever visited, held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings! Many local producers: flowers, cheeses, vegetables, meat, bread, etc. Am I afraid I'll get bored? - Haute Touche Nature Reserve 22 min (23 km) * - Beauval Zoo 33 min (35 km) - Chenonceau 44 min (40 km) - Chambord 1 hr 25 min (84 km) - Cheverny 1 hr 6 min (67 km) - And many other castles! - Lake Chemillé-sur-Indrois 20 min (19 km) with a treetop adventure course - Museum of Prehistory in Le Grand-Pressigny 30 min (31 km) - Several villages listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France: Montrésor 21 min, Angle-sur-l'Anglin 47 min

Come and get back to basics in our caravan: camping, but not too much! 😉 Here, it's all about nature! If you're sensitive to insects and animals, this isn't for you! It's not sterile here! The essentials are: comfortable bedding, a separate refrigerator, a dry toilet 20m away, a gas hob, and a shower at the owner's house. You'll appreciate the authenticity and natural setting while observing the wildlife. Peace and quiet guaranteed! The accommodation: The caravan inside: One double bed (130x190cm) and one single bed (110x190cm). PLEASE NOTE: we only provide sheets for medium to long stays (4 nights or more). Two gas hobs. Kitchen utensils provided (pots, pans, kitchen knife, etc.). A 10L container of drinking water for drinking and cooking. Rechargeable at the foot of our house, outside. The caravan outside includes: A family-sized refrigerator, a ping-pong table, and a dining table. The caravan is located under an old agricultural shed, on a dirt floor. A tarpaulin is on the ground, which we sweep between each rental, but it can get dirty from the wind and passing animals. Next to it, you'll find the hayloft, a space shared with residents and travelers! You can enjoy nature within the limits of what it produces (eggs, vegetables from the garden, fruit, etc.).
