Pure tent pitch for up to 3 tents in a private garden (secured with an iron gate) in the middle of the city (in a quiet side street in the middle of a residential area). * NO further supplies available = (No water, toilet, etc. available). * The church square with 4 restaurants and 1 (ice cream) cafe, pub is 30 meters away. * 2 bakeries, 4 kebab shops, 1 Thai massage, 3 banks, 3 ice cream parlors, the city park with a playground, etc. are on the main street = 150 m away. * A large shopping center: Kaufland, Lidl, Kik, dm Markt, Tacko, erntstings family, etc. are ~ 400 m away. * Pure pitch: on a meadow between developed properties with owner-occupied houses (older property owners -> quiet) in the middle of the city in a quiet side street in the middle of a residential area. * NO further supplies available (No water, toilet, etc. available). * The road is a single-lane dead-end. Turning around with cars is not possible (or you have to reverse out again). Tips

  • go to the „Kirchplatz“, where our restaurants and Bars are. Just 1 Minute walk.

  • The banks of the Rhine are about 800 meters away for picnics or to cool off. There is a beach bar (April to October)

  • Fridays 3-7 pm is local farmers market on our church square

  • There are three restaurants/bars 30 meters away on the church square. There's also the "Eldorado" billiards café on the main street, open on Fridays.

  • 1 km away is an extremely good pastry shop, "Kleudgen," located at the historic mill in the Sayn district. There, the family produces their own cakes and carries them across the stream to the café on foot.

    The river is about 800 meters away. It has a small bank. It's usually relatively quiet there. You can lie down with a towel on the pebble beach.

Foodsharing Fairteiler, a food rescue shelf, is located on Steinstraße, 20 meters away. You can take or put in food here for free to prevent it from being thrown away. There is a compost heap on the property. On Fridays, a weekly market of local farmers takes place in the church square. During the week, regional products are available from the following farmers: Potatoes from farmer Eberhard on the main street. Potatoes at Bauer, Konrad in Siegburger Straße Salads, eggs, potatoes, and vegetables at the "Vierwindenhof," which you can reach on foot via Grubenweg and the field behind it in about 8 minutes.
