Here you'll find a charming pitch in an idyllic spot on the outskirts of the small village of Auburg, on the grounds of a former castle complex with a small vineyard. From there, you have a view of the listed and award-winning St. Oswald's Chapel and Wörth an der Donau Castle (14 km). The Sarchinger Weiher recreational area with swimming opportunities is easily accessible by bicycle (5 km). The UNESCO World Heritage city of Regensburg is 15 km away, and Donaustauf with its impressive Walhalla memorial is 11 km away. A public children's playground is just a 100-meter walk along an old orchard. The banks of the Danube, with views of the historic Bavarian wine region, are 500 meters away and invite you to take a relaxing stroll. Shopping options: Bakery in Geisling on Federal Highway 8 (5 km). A butcher shop is located in the village of Friesheim (3 km). An organic farm shop is located directly in the village (approx. 300 meters)... and of course, wine 🍷 from our own production, while supplies last 😉 You can reach the site via the A3 motorway, Rosenhof exit (7 km) or Wiesent exit (9 km)... which is also why it's ideally suited for a relaxing stopover, because the journey is the destination 🧭 We look forward to seeing you 😊

Your pitch is located directly on the former castle grounds dating back to the 13th century (Burgstall, Auburg), with a view of our small vineyard and the deconsecrated St. Oswald's Chapel (awarded the Bavarian Monument Protection Medal).
