Bad Ischl, the imperial city, is world-famous and only 5 km away. St. Wolfgang and the Schafberg mountain are 8 km away. Hallstatt is about 20 minutes away, St. Gilgen about 10 minutes, and Salzburg, the city of Mozart, about 35 minutes. Lake Attersee is just under 20 minutes away. There are many more sights to see, but listing them all would be too much.
