About this location

"Riparo nel Bosco" is a place immersed in nature. Characteristic terraces with dry stone walls are ideal for setting up hammocks. Two tree tents, each for two and three people, are currently available. Inside the area, you'll find a compost toilet, a shower, and areas for making fires and cooking. The CAI (Italian Alpine Club) trail network connects the forest to other places of interest: the Hermitage of San Marco, the Orsini Caves, the Beato Corrado Cave, the Castellano River, the village of Castel Trosino, and the historic city center. All these places are within a few minutes' walk (maximum 30 minutes).
