Hej and welcome to our world!
We are Magnus and Theresa, a multicultural couple from Stockholm/London and Berlin.
Magnus’ family is originally from Gotland, even though one of his great-grandmas was also from Berlin. He is half Swedish and half English, born in Stockholm and grew up partly there and in London. Living and working all over the world as a fashion and art photographer we finally met in Berlin, where Theresa was born and raised, and then moved together to Gotland.
Theresa is a ballett&fire dancer, dance&movement pedagogue, circus trainer and yoga teacher.
Gotland's nature is stunningly beautiful BUT WE HAVE SOMETHING MORE! We are aware, that thanks to the Right of Public Access, a principle, protected by the law, all people in Sweden are given the freedom to roam free in nature. It means that you have the right to walk, cycle, ride, ski and camp on any land with the exception of private gardens, near a dwelling house or land under cultivation. It's called 'Allemansrätten', which literally translates to "The all mans right” (see visitsweden.com)
Our place differs from all the other beautiful spots in nature because we are offering here a space for different types of artists consisting of annually varying constellations who live and create together. This special atmosphere is something you cannot get anywhere else on Gotland!
Lucky circumstances, thousands of unlived ideas, a lot of dreams and the inner urgency to not only create events for people but to create a whole community around them piled up over the past years and made us think of a use for this old farm. We have been living there (in a tiny part of it, strictly speaking in the renovated pig stall) for quite some time already but finally took the step to transfer our visions into reality. The renovation works on the old barns started in December 2021 with the help of a Gotlandic architect and his lovely team. We want to give life to this old farm and make it into a meeting point for people from far and near, from Sweden and from all over the world.
So we are very excited to announce that finally in summer 2026 we will have our first test run for some events - events from the community for the community, for and with our guests and artists, for friends & family as well as our neighbours and all people from the surrounding areas.
We can offer private bedrooms, shared lofts, spaces for tents and campervans. However you are travelling, we will have a space for you!
Oh and not to forget: We have a sauna!
Also you can book a private yoga class as well as rent bikes and kajaks from us. And we are happy to give you guided tours on special topics in Solsudret, "the sunny South".
We are located 91km South of Visby, 14km South of Burgsvik and 2km North of the South Cape Hoburgen. It takes only a 20min walk to the sea through a breathtaking landscape like out of a fairytale.
