About this location

In the peaceful hamlet between Hoge Venen and Schnee-Eifel, you'll find this beautiful and quiet pitch for your tent. There is electricity, a nice hot shower, a fridge, and a place for a campfire. Numerous hiking and cycling routes are available; below in the valley runs the GR-56 and the new Stoneman Arduinna MTB route. The pitch is for tents only: caravans and campers are not allowed. Warmly welcome to East Belgium!

Dogs are allowed, as long as they do not cause a nuisance to other campers. It is very quiet here in the evenings, noise carries far: please do not make any noise after 10.30 pm.

In the small and peaceful village of Medendorf, in the middle of the High Fens - Eifel Nature Park, I have a mini-campsite, a few B&B rooms and a group accommodation.

Tips

  • Picking your own blueberries and raspberries from the neighbors: that's allowed!

  • In the evenings, listen to the calling owls and barking roe deer in the forest.

  • The neighbors sell fresh eggs, ice cream, and homemade jam and lemonade.

  • Our B&B has a refrigerator with drinks.

  • There's no restaurant in Medendorf. But food can be delivered by the incomparable Pizza Taxi Roma from Büllingen!
