Very nice campsite right on the edge of the field between bushes and trees with wonderful peace and natural seclusion and yet in the immediate vicinity of the landlord's yard and toilet.
Walking connection to Ingelheim with its possibilities.
For us, the best conditions for a stopover including a day off on our cycle tour from Aachen to the Allgäu.

How was the contact with the host?
Very warm contact with the Menk family of winegrowers, who gave us lots of tips and suggestions for the day off and served us a delicious little wine tasting with salted pretzels and Spundekäs on the first evening.

Ingelheim offers a lot of history, delicious wine, good food and beautiful scenery, previously unknown to us and now a place to come back.

The place fully corresponds to the description. As there weren't many vans when we came, Anke kindly allowed us to take one of the spots usually reserved for vans in front of the vineyards. We enjoyed the beautiful view which looked directly over the vineyards and the great sunset. In the morning, we had the pleasant visit of 2 hares while having our coffee. It was just perfect! The toilets are very clean. We took the wine tasting and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wines, made with love. We left with a whole case after our tasting :-)
