A 6-hectare natural estate with various shaded terraced pitches, near a small, typical village nestled in nature, in the Aspres mountains of the Catalan Country, and bordered by a charming little river perfect for cooling off in the summer. The estate is accessible by all vehicles via a scenic road, the RD 618, and then, near the village of Boule d'Amont, via a drivable track. We look forward to welcoming you for a stay of one or more nights on our beautiful estate. We enjoy a mild Mediterranean climate at night thanks to the lush vegetation that surrounds us and the river bordering our property. Peace, nature, wide open spaces, and breathtaking views of the sea, mountains, and Mediterranean scrubland are the hallmarks of this exceptional place. You can swim in our beautiful, tree-lined river, sip a refreshing drink, or enjoy a delicious homemade meal on our shaded terrace. Explore the rich natural, historical, and cultural heritage of the surrounding area by hiking, cycling (mountain biking, e-mountain biking), motorcycling, or off-roading. A few suggestions: the nearby Serrabone Priory, numerous trails, paths, and scenic routes for discovering the diverse natural landscape, charming villages perfect for leisurely strolls, and breathtaking scenery. From the Mas, you can reach the village in 10 minutes on foot via the shaded path along the Boulès River. Mountain biking trails are available. E-mountain bike rentals are available upon reservation. Swimming in the river is at your own risk, as it is located on the edge of the property. Local bistros, small restaurants, and inns are nearby. In the village, we also offer a lovely program of festivities and activities with the DECOUVERTES association and the local festival committee, all in a friendly atmosphere. Ask us for the itinerary! The Mediterranean Sea is an hour's drive away, as are the mountains and the various trailheads for the famous Mount Canigou (2785 m altitude). Céret and its Museum of Modern Art are 45 minutes away, and Ille-sur-Têt, a village rich in heritage, is half an hour away. You'll find all the amenities you need. The region boasts a rich wine industry (red, rosé, white, and fortified wines) and numerous local producers (fruits, vegetables, meat, cheeses, honeys, olive oil, and Catalan specialties). A winery and home-style dining are available on-site. Other notes: Cyclists, motorcyclists, horseback riders, hikers, and epicurean adventurers are all welcome! Mas del Capella is a small, intimate place to stay where you can enjoy peace and quiet, quality services, and is the starting point for numerous walks and hikes of all levels and tastes. Don't hesitate to ask us. We have documentation and we know the area well.
