Here you'll find a small, charming campsite with excellent sanitary facilities. We're located at the foot of the Retezat Mountains at 600 meters above sea level, in the last village before the mountains. The Retezat National Park, Romania's oldest nature reserve, begins right on our doorstep. The "Via Transilvanica" long-distance hiking trail passes directly by the property. The village has a small grocery store, a small restaurant, and several local producers. Starting in 2024, we'll be offering seasonal vegetables from our small on-site garden. The starting point for various hiking tours into the Retezat Mountains is 6 km uphill at 1080 meters above sea level. We offer a shuttle service there (round trip €5, max. 4 people). Roman archaeological sites, a dinosaur park, and various castles and palaces can be found in the surrounding area. And above all, there's plenty of nature!

We ourselves traveled through Europe as campers with our caravan. Now we've settled here in Romania. We'll continue traveling in the winter, and from spring to autumn we'll be hosting travelers.
