Camping for nature lovers
The approx. 15,000 m² dreamlike property is located directly on the Waldsee in Probst Jesar, south-east of Hamburg and is ideal for those seeking peace and nature lovers. It is completely fenced. The lake is fed by underground springs and therefore has excellent water quality. Pure nature awaits you. Water and electricity are available for your use. You can also use the toilet and shower. There are also 2 rinsing stations with warm water. We, the hosts, live on the neighboring property and are at your disposal with advice and action.
Ideally suited for water rats. On the opposite bank there is a beautiful beach with lifeguard, pedal boat rental, large water slide, etc. The wooded area in the nature reserve invites you to go hiking and cycling. Bicycles and kayaks can be borrowed for free. Our nature campsite is ideal for winter camping, there is a good infrastructure in the town of Lübtheen, 1.5 km away.

I live with my husband in Mecklenburg from spring to autumn and love entertaining guests. That's why we rent out 2 fixed caravans via Airbnb and 6 pitches for campers on our spacious property. We look forward to new, uncomplicated guests who want to enjoy nature.
Wonderful place to sleep in and relax in the middle of nature.

Found this neat and very quiet place in beautiful surroundings by chance. The property is secluded on a forest lake. Generous spaces for caravans / mobile homes. A grill for general use is available. And a clean shower/toilet also for general use.
How was the contact with the host?
Extremely short response time to inquiries. Competent, friendly, informative, supportive. Top hosts!!
Tips for new guests?
If you would like to rent a canoe or bike, ask in advance. If you don't like hiking (beautiful nature reserve!), you should have bikes with you to go on excursions in the area.

Elisabeth and Peter are so warm and helpful, you feel comfortable. But you also have enough rest and distance during your stay.
Tips for new guests?
Autan or other mosquito repellent. So close to the lake and forest, definitely recommended.

We can only warmly recommend everyone to spend a few days there, this place and also Elisabeth and Peter are unique. That's very rare to find! Thank you for the wonderful time on your idyllic piece of land, we are super relaxed!
The green meadow is equipped with everything you need and more and is located directly on the clean forest lake, which you can also experience on two kayaks. We explored the natural surroundings with the adjoining former military area on two bicycles. A small village where you can find everything you need to live can be reached quickly by bike.

Elisabeth is a lovely hostess. The location is beautiful and the starry sky too.
We are sorry to write but from the first moment Peter was very unfriendly.
He repeatedly spoke insultingly about us in German in front of us. That stopped when we said we understand German. According to him, we had 'no real camping gear' and 'Holländer' was spoken derogatoryly.
The way Peter continued to communicate with us was rude, derogatory, commanding, sometimes yelling and almost always rude.
Bicycles were promised, but we were not allowed to take them with us. The first day + night there was no key for the bathroom and that while overnight stay is quite expensive.
Elisabeth tried to find a solution to a practical problem. But she was literally called to order and the solution was crushed. Thirty euros a night was way too expensive for the lack of hospitality.
When Elisabeth has her own campsite, we will come back.

Unfortunately, something needs to be clarified here. From the beginning, the two of them only spoke English with us, although they spoke German well. When they arrived, a thunderstorm was brewing and they wanted to set up their tent in the forest. Out of concern, we provided them with a large awning in front of a caravan and a bathing house that they could use without a key. You could also use the bathroom intended for campers, with toilet, vanity and shower, which was accessible during the day. Since they pitched their tent the next day in the farthest corner of the property, which is not intended for camping, Peter also provided them with a camping toilet and tent. They drove their car all the way across the garden, even though we asked them not to. They used kayaks and could have used bikes, but without a bike lock that afternoon. Peter never "roared" or commanded, only got annoyed when our requests were completely ignored and new wishes were expressed again and again. The term "Dutchman" was by no means derogatory, because we often have guests from Holland. However, the experience with Jolanda resulted in us taking tents out of our rental. As for the price, all other guests find it fair because there are no extra charges. There is no way we can recommend these guests, fortunately they are the only ones so far.
