About this location

You will be welcomed in a historic tuilery site in Ecuisses, perfectly positioned on the edge of the Burgundy Canal. This is an ideal stop to discover the surroundings and the famous eco-museum at the end of the street. On request we can:

prepare breakfast on reservation for €10 per person.

organize a brazier for you.

set out the ping-pong table.

set out additional deck chairs.

lend you badminton rackets and net.

set out the barbecue.

lend you tools to repair your bikes, grease your chains, inflate your tyres, and elevate your bikes (stand).

rent you a brand new electric cargo bike for half a day or full day. It can hold two children (seats and belts) or an adult in the cargo bed.

give you access to our washing machine and laundry detergent if needed (€2 including detergent).

provide in the kitchen: raclette machine, Savoyard fondue set, cheese fondue and Burgundy fondue, pans, fridge, cooktop.

The 3000m² grounds have a wooden picnic table with benches. We have everything you need to repair your bicycle (tripod, pump, patches, etc.). The back section of the site is shaded, and all tent sizes are welcome. You will have access to a summer kitchen, a bathroom, and a toilet. A washing machine and detergent are available for €2. You can sleep in the barn if it rains heavily. Or you can rent our apartment if you are interested. Breakfast is available upon reservation for €10 per person.

We are new to the area, Chrissy (40 years old) is from Doubs and Rico (38 years old) is from Val d'Oise, we have a project to renovate an old tile factory into a bed and breakfast, table d'hôte, camping. We like to welcome and make people feel comfortable. Chrissy works in catering and Rico travels the "grand est" for an internet antenna maintenance company. We cannot guarantee your arrival on Thursday evening because I am normally at work and Rico is traveling. On Friday evenings you should try to arrive after 6 p.m. if possible, not before. Other days it is 👍 if you would like to arrive before 5 p.m. please let us know and we can try to adapt of course.

  • The Perrusson Villa is an eco-museum that you can visit for free at the end of the street. You'll see all the most fantastic things the tile factory could produce!

  • Visit the Château de Couches, the Hospices de Beaune, the Château de la Verrerie in Le Creusot,

  • There is a small grocery store in Saint Berain sur Dheune.

  • "Chez Martine" bar in Ecuisses, the Bernois small restaurant in Saint-Berain
