StefanieWelcome to our Camperplace campsite.
We, Barry and Stefanie, live on our dairy farm with our 4 sons. Since May 2021 we have a Camperplace/Camping next to our dairy farm in the beautiful countryside between Hasselt and Zwolle. With us you can enjoy the peace, the space, the greenery, but the possibilities of a city nearby; Zwolle center 7 km away and Hasselt center 5 km. We are not luxurious or extensive, but we are lovely in the middle of the grass, with beautiful flowers. Opposite us is the Zwartewater and the mouth of the Overijsselse Vecht; beautiful for supping (inlets can be discussed) or fishing. You can also enjoy walking and cycling with us, we are located on the junction route. There is plenty to do in the region, feel free to email for more information.

When you arrive on a deserted dike road you already feel that you will arrive at a nice spot. The river on your left and beautiful farmlands on your right.
Arriving at the campsite, we are immediately warmly welcomed by the son of the owners. He neatly explains to us where we are allowed to stand and where we can find the sanitary facilities.
The pitches on the campsite are spacious and you can decide for yourself where you stand. The view over the meadow where the cows graze is fantastic.
The campsite is new and the trees still have to grow considerably, but that gives you lots of sun.
How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly and helpful
Tips for new guests?
The Hanseatic cities of Zwolle and Hasselt are just around the corner and are more than worth a visit.
If you want to go on the water with, for example, a sup or canoe, this is also possible from the campsite.

After an idyllic ride over the dike along the Overijsselsche Vecht I reach the campsite of Stefanie and Barry. Chirping birds, fresh green grass and a crowing rooster welcome me. I can choose my own spot on the large field between the dike and cow pasture, with or without electricity. It's quiet now, early May, so plenty of space. But even in high season it doesn't get crowded. A conscious choice by Stefanie. The service building is spacious and efficient. The fridge is filled with cold drinks, coffee, tea and biscuits are available and real natural ice cream in delicious flavors is a luxury. Payment is made in cash in the milk can or via a little bit, in good faith. It's still possible. By bike, by kayak, car or camper, camping Zwolse Dijk is a nice resting point for camping at a reasonable price.
How was the contact with the host?
Stefanie responds very quickly to booking and questions, via the website, WhatsApp and in person. As a camper you are free.
Tips for new guests?
The camping site offers peace and space and a great starting point for cycling, sailing or a visit to Hanseatic cities Zwolle and Hasselt.
