About this location

Discover our pretty, peaceful garden in a small valley off the main roads, just 6km from the lively town of Die. Pitch your tent or use our equipment (on request) and enjoy the simplicity of our setting. Be self-sufficient for your meals with the small kitchen in the cabin. Dry toilets and solar shower or shower in our house, weather permitting. 1/2 board available on request. We look forward to welcoming you.
The small village of Ponet, built around its temple and church, is typical of the area. Its semi-circular architecture lends it a great deal of authenticity. The stone houses have been well renovated in recent years. The village is lively and quiet, with 50 Ponet residents year-round. The vineyards that produce the famous Clairette de Die, the lavender and cereal fields, the pine forest and the small stream are just some of the landscapes you can discover here. The garden features a vegetable garden, fruit trees, flowering shrubs, flowers and 2 ponds populated by toads and other aquatic plants. A few personal sculptures in metal, wood or stone are scattered throughout. Discover also the beautiful collection of pebbles gleaned from our travels.
The activities
Hiking is king here. Whether you're on foot, horseback, road bike or mountain bike, you'll easily find the route that's right for you. Swimming in the Drôme river, just 4km from the village, is also very pleasant. The town of Die, with its long history dating back to antiquity, is well worth a visit. 2 weekly markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and numerous sporting and cultural events throughout the Diois.
Other things
Please note that there are no shops in the village. Stock up in Die before driving the remaining 6km to our place. Or ask us for half-board, 12€ evening meal, 5€ breakfast, subject to availability.
