Lovely place under the holm oaks!
A nice central location to explore the island.

The shower block s basic and the water used is salty. Keep in mind.

How was the contact with the host?
Friendly. After a few days he came to ask if everything was okay. Called on arrival and he came right away

Tips for new guests?
If you like basic camping with the luxury of electricity, then you've come to the right place.

Unfortunately very disappointed immediately upon arrival. We had booked but there was actually no place for a large tent. We pitched the tent on the spot that was available, 50 cm from our neighborhood tents on both sides (while we didn't pitch part of the tent). The host reported that he had indicated that it was a small campsite so I could expect small pitches and certainly in August. He said this was the case at all campsites and we probably did. have no camping experience. (this is not the case after 20 years of camping on many different smaller campsites) He offered to refund the amount if we wanted to go to another campsite; unfortunately there were no free places available during this busy period. The sanitary facilities consist of 4 toilets and 4 showers, all of which cannot be closed. So only a shower curtain and a foot against the door on the toilet.
I got the impression that all areas were not or hardly cleaned, nor did I see any staff and the owner was not always present. Toilet paper was often replenished, so the dirt must have been noticed. Salt/salt water comes out of the shower, men and women are mixed so dry behind the curtain with your feet in the dirty shower water through clogged drains. and dress up there again if you're as prudish as we are. The host reported that it had to be known that the campsite provides a Robinson Crusoe experience... Incidentally, unfinished / open electricity pipes were visible everywhere. As for the environment: The beach near the campsite is very small, with large stones that extend into the water with many sea urchins in between. The sunset is beautiful. We have chosen to be off the campsite every day and to settle for the sea as self-care. 45 minutes away on Pag there is a beautiful pebble beach with wonderful bathing water. The owner asked on departure how the stay had been, explained to him again that we were disappointed in the campsite. He said we'd better choose a 5 star hotel next time. He was always very friendly, though. Oh yes, if you are sensitive to noise: at 7 o'clock thousands of cicadas start making noise until sunset, search the internet for how that sounds and the music thumps of the clubs elsewhere on the island can sometimes be heard well, probably. depending on the wind direction.

How was the contact with the host?
The host was very friendly but said strange things, see above.

Tips for new guests?
For a Robinson experience, be sure to visit this campsite, especially recommended for people with impaired hearing.
