Welcome to our farm;
Pioneers of rural tourism, Marie Pierre's parents set up a small farm campsite in the early 1970s. In turn, in 2006 we wanted to continue this service and reconnect with our farming traditions. We have had great pleasure since then in sharing our passions and our experience of life in this territory with our visitors. The production of traditional farm cider, the beehives, the care of 4 donkeys, the maintenance of fields and woods as well as the vegetable garden keep our days full and provide many opportunities for exchanging experiences with our guests.
We offer you accommodation on a 1-hectare plot with pitches delimited by natural vegetation and trees. Space, calm and tranquility are guaranteed by limiting numbers to around twenty guests. You will discover at your leisure our fully preserved environment along the 2 walking trails marked and maintained on the property.
The camping area has a waste water disposal pit. Electrical connections are also available.
The camping facilities include 2 hot showers, 3 toilets, 2 washbasins and 3 washing-up or laundry sinks. Installed from the outset in a wing of the old agricultural barn, they are functional, simple and rustic. They will delight lovers of no-frills traditional camping but may - we are well aware - displease those who cannot conceive of staying in places that visually do not meet modern comfort standards.
Advocates of modest and authentic rural tourism, away from the fashionable temptation of "always more and better" - but also always more expensive - we do not have the immediate possibility of refurbishing our facilities according to newer, more modern standards. The corresponding cost is indeed beyond the reach of a small structure like ours. By maintaining the opening of this campsite in its original design we are above all keen to continue an enriching and motivating family history of tourist hospitality on a relational level. We also know that our accommodation offer suits perfectly a traditional clientele - not the most numerous - demanding on the essential criteria of quality of welcome.
We assure you of our full availability to receive you at our place in all simplicity. We hope that your choice to come to us is truly informed and based on the values we wish to share.
We are sure that true nature lovers will appreciate the environment of our 20-hectare camping situated at the foot of the Monts d'Arrée, in the Armorique regional nature park. You will be able to climb nearby our "Breton mountains" on foot, by bike, or mountain bike on the many existing hiking trails. The village of Brasparts is moreover ideally located less than 50 km from the Finistère coasts, as well as from the cities of Brest, Quimper, Morlaix; so during your stay you will have all the opportunities to discover the very great richness of Breton landscapes and culture.
