About this location

A beautiful plot of 1500 square meters on the banks of the Saône awaits you. I will be happy to welcome you.
Provide drinking water.
My house is in nature, along the towpath in the immediate vicinity of a cycle path.
It's very quiet, ideal for rest, isn't it?
Activities
There are various activities for travelers who will pass through, but cycling, fishing, kayaking or canoeing and walking will be the most common.
Other remarks
For arrival, preferably before 7 p.m. and departure before noon to take advantage of daylight. You can stay several days, but plan for additional comfort (water, electricity, etc.). There are rest areas nearby.

The locations are relatively flat.

The Saône is not a swimming pool but you can possibly swim in it.
The water from the field can be used during the day.
There is no internet access and no electricity.
I do not provide kitchen equipment, dishes, etc. unless requested in advance.
My house only has photovoltaic panels. As soon as it gets dark, there is no more electricity.
To charge phones and bikes during the day, I will give you an extension cord. Avoid other electrical equipment (breakfast, lamp, ...). Bring gas.
There are several restaurants along the towpath which will allow you to have a pleasant meal.
There is a swing on the grounds.
It's better if you have mosquito nets.

Tips

  • Bike, scooter, kayak or canoe or paddle. There is a beautiful hiking trail that goes from my house. The hike is easy because it is all flat.

  • Possibility of wheelchair on the way without problem.

  • There is a market in Trévoux on Saturday mornings and another in Neuville sur Saône on Friday mornings. There is a Carrefour store not far away.

  • There are several restaurants with different levels of service at the Ling de la Saone and also picnic areas.
