Detached holiday home / Farmhouse lodge close to the cows and nature
Our farmers lodge is a newly built sustainably built holiday home, with heat pump, air conditioning and recycled wood. The heat from the cow's milk is used to heat the water, even the clothes hooks are made of recycled wood. From the veranda you have a view of our meadows and in the evening you can enjoy the setting sun. In short, an accommodation with all options for a longer stay. There is room for 5 people or six if there are children.
Pets are not allowed.
Surroundings
You can relax at this rural location on the edge of the Veluwe in Achterveld (between Amersfoort and Barneveld). Ideal as a base for a walk or a bike ride, or a visit to Amersfoort. But certainly also suitable for a weekend with friends. with a walking route that is only accessible to our guests. You can drink fresh milk from our cows on request, and get your own eggs from the hen house. when you sit on the veranda, our cows come for a walk.
Achterveld is located in the municipality of Leusden (proclaimed walking municipality of the year in 2017) where you can enjoy a lovely walk on the Klompenpaden, cycle through the Gelderse Vallei and Veluwe or explore the area on inline skates, there are inline skating routes and a specialty store nearby ( mines). It is also very beautiful at Stoutenburg Castle and the Den Treek estate.
Hungry from walking or cycling? You can cook extensive meals in your accommodation, but you can also enjoy delicious food at, for example, De Hessenkar, Nog Eentje or De Roskam. But it's also fun to bite and kick, to skate and eat or to bite and step.
In addition, there is regularly something fun to do in the area. For example in Achterveld, Barneveld or Amersfoort.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
